My first post of 2015 - Happy New Year!

Don't let the "glow" of these pictures deceive you.  It was actually a really cold, yet bright day. I thought this was a cool backdrop for pictures, but when I looked through the viewfinder outside, I didn't think the lighting looked good, so I switched locations and took all the pictures there. When I got back inside (and warmed up) I realized I really liked the lighting of this location over the one I moved to, because it had a surreal like feel - almost like I was using one of those reflective lighting boards the professionals use. Anyway, there were only a handful of pictures to choose from at this location... And, I could have saved myself a lot of time (especially in the freezing temps) - isn't that how it goes.  (Maybe I'll share some from the other location later in the week - possibly the bloopers - to at least get some use out of them.) Anyone else had this happen before?

Sale Advice: I love these boots!  I bought them before Christmas when they were an additional 70% off the sale price.  They are so comfy. I just wish I had gotten them in the taupe color.  They are still on sale - but selling out - so if you are looking for tall boots - I definitely recommend these.

    Pictures can be deceiving.. you looked so warm and cozy here! I too love the neckline of the sweater of which unfortunately I can never pull off. Too short neck and ample chest is just not a good recipe for turtle neck I guess ;)
