And, the wind....
SHOP MY LOOK
I thought I would explain this post through something new, old, borrowed, and blue. I did that a few months as part of my Style Me Blogger series, and I thought it would be fun to repeat it.
NEW
The most new would be my white button down. I wear button downs a lot, usually under a sweater, so I am constantly buying new ones because they tend to wear out over time. I used to buy all of them at Express until they stopped making my favorite shirt and replaced it with this Essential shirt. It had the best tapered fit in the body and buttoned at the collar. This one I got at Nordstrom is okay, but not as great as the Express one. It is a little loose in the body and arms, and now that I am looking at the pictures, it looks somewhat sloppy.
OLD
My necklace I got at The Limited a few years ago. It was one of those "it is only $9" so why not buy it, and now I wear it how many times a week (and it has been in a few posts - here and here). My Michael Kors watch just a new battery this week, and it is still ticking away. I may look at getting a new one in black, since this one is starting to show its wear. These gladiator sandals are also old. I bought them on sale last season, and I am so excited to wear them this spring/summer. I am glad the gladiator sandal trend continues.
BORROWED
When I picked my mom up to take the pictures, she gave me this clutch, not even knowing what I was going to wear for the pictures, and said I might want to use it. How did she know it would go perfectly with my outfit, and I wouldn't have to bore everyone with my same handbag again!
BLUE
I love jeans. I own more jeans than skirts and dress pants combined. Jeans are now both dressy and casual. In trying to figure out what to wear to church this past Sunday, I was stumped because I wear jeans throughout the week, so I do not own a lot of dressy (girly) clothes that would be more church appropriate. I look forward to summer -- it is easier because I can wear skirts.

DeleteI can't decide if I want the shoes or the clutch more!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the white button down, I don't wear one often, but I feel like everyone pulls them off so well. And you have to love Mom for having an awesome clutch!
