The Staples

I thought I would share a few favorite staples of mine -- the seamless cami from The Limited and the jersey tank from Old Navy. These items are a go-to in my wardrobe. Over the years, I have collected an assortment of colors, and it will be a sad day for me when they are no longer available. If you have been looking for a cami/tank, I would suggest giving these a try. [Note: I have found that if I wash them on cold (with Woolite) and air dry them, they retain their color (even the black).]

Outfit #1: Red pants with a crisp white button down, black sweater, and necklace. This shirt/sweater/necklace combo is reminiscent of Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada (one of my favorite movies). To finish off the look, I added some python pumps.

Faux Leopard Fur Jacket - 2 ways

My post today is about how to wear a piece of clothing -- a Faux Leopard Fur Jacket -- two ways. On the left, I paired the leopard jacket with a red top and ivory skinny jeans. To accent the tan color in the jacket, I paired it with the camel pumps. On the right, I went with all black -- skinny jeans, top, and knee high boots.

To put this outfit together, I used Polyvore, a fashion community site, where you can style different outfits. It is a lot of fun, and there is a chance to win prizes. Also, I might suggest adding a necklace to the outfit. The black necklace paired with the red/ivory outfit to bring out the black leopard print. The red necklace for the black outfit to add a pop of color. I always like red paired with leopard.
