Destroyed (distressed) denim, floral print, and leather are all hot trends right now, so I thought I would group them together for a look. I think the floral print does a nice job of offsetting the distressed look of the denim, and leather gives it a rocker, fun look! What do you think? Any of these trends on your wish list for spring/summer?

Hi Lisa- in your opinion what is the best "mass" fashion store i.e. Target, H&M, Old Navy, etc? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove how you softened the edgy top & accessories with the feminine floral pumps. I'm loving all the shoes!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, Let's see - it varies depending on what I am buying... I like Old Navy for the basics - tee and tops. I have found that ON jersey tanks for $6-10 last and wear far better than ones that are 10x the price. I have tried ON jeans, but the fit isn't good on me. I like a lot of pieces at H&M and am impressed with the quality vs. the price, especially since it is a fast fashion store, with runway trends that get to the floor faster and cheaper. I just wish they had an online e-commerce site [my husband is probably glad they don't :)]. I do not shop Target that often, although, I have seen some cute things. Forever 21 surprises me - I have gotten a couple of nice things, for a really cheap price, like a lined white blazer that looked like it cost a lot more than $20. I have even bought jackets, scarves, etc. at Walmart - they didn't last as long - but for the trendy occasional piece (one season), the cost per wear worked out. For the most part, I do the majority of my shopping at Nordstrom and Piperlime, but I also pick up things at NYC, The Limited, Express, Loft... I could ramble on about my opinions... hope this somewhat helps. In your opinion, what is the best mass fashion store?
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think the slingback shoes are cute! I am just not sure I could keep them on. I am afraid they would flip off my foot.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! I am going to investigate Forever 21- they do have a site! - because to your point they seem to have some very nice pieces when it comes to blazers and jackets- check this one out: http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?Br=F21&Category=Outerwear&ProductID=2025100453&VariantID=
ReplyDeleteThanks for your feedback; I definitely appreciate it!
Lisa - that's a cute jacket. I like the studded detail on the shoulder and the tweed texture. I like moto jackets - I think they are versatile pieces.
