I am participating in a Fall Style Me Pretty challenge with Alison Lumbatis. This is my look for Day One. The look was to include a striped tee, boyfriend jeans, and short booties. I opted for leopard print instead of the suede solid color and swapped out rolled skinny jeans for boyfriend jeans. (I have not found a pair of boyfriend jeans that I like - still looking... any suggestions???...) Over the next couple weeks (the challenge is for 21 days), I will be posting different looks from my own closet. And, weather permitting (if it would stop raining...), I plan to get outside and take some pictures of what I am wearing for this challenge. The leaves are so pretty right now and would be a perfect backdrop.
I am part of a link up for the challenge - so be sure to check out the other ladies participating below...

Also, Shopbop is having its Friends & Family sale - 25% off until the 16th. Here are a few of my picks. (Code: Family25)
p.s. Just thought I should mention that I do own shoes/boots that are not leopard print and other jeans... These just seem to be on repeat.

Deletecute boots!!!
ReplyDeleteI look ridiculous in boyfriend jeans... I did end up finding some I can deal with, the Old Navy Skinny boyfriend but they're pretty much like skinny jeans lol
I may have to give the ON ones a try. Thanks for the suggestion!
DeleteLeopard and stripes seems to be the only patterns I feel comfortable mixing. I need to work on finding others! I love your outfit - great choice.
ReplyDeleteMe, too. Thanks, Christy.

DeleteThose boots and strips together are unexpected and amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joy!
DeleteVery cute outfit! I love pattern mixing and am becoming more and more confident with it. I'm still on the hunt for boyfriend jeans too but I have my eye on some from GAP. They seem to be more slouchy.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I am looking for ones that are so tight in the ankle area - a little wider to balance out the slouch. I've looked at the ones for Gap - I might have to give them a try.
DeleteLove the combo! Just went I thought I had all thing leopard I realize I don't have ankle boots, thanks for that :)
ReplyDeleteSorry... Blog Hazard... :)
DeleteWow! Love those bold booties! I went thrifting yesterday and found a short leapord "fur" jacket but I wasn't brave enough to buy it. Now you've got me rethinking that...
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely get it! If you need a little inspiration - check out What I Wore - for how to style a leopard fur jacket.
DeleteLove the outfit - but I can't get over the booties! So gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love leopard!
DeleteWhat great pieces! Those boots are fantastic! There are must have!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carrie. I definitely recommend the leopard print booties.
DeleteLove, love the striped shirt. There is always room in one's closet for an extra b+w striped shirt, right? Looking forward to seeing more of your outfit combinations!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't found a pair of boyfriend jeans either! And I have tried on A LOT! Good luck with your search!
ReplyDeleteThank, Alison. Hopefully one day I will find a pair I like - preferably before they are no longer in style :)
DeleteGreat look! Love your tassel necklace and leopard booties!
