Mixed Prints

fall style me pretty challenge, get your pretty on, mixing prints, leopard booties

I am participating in a Fall Style Me Pretty challenge with Alison Lumbatis.  This is my look for Day One.  The look was to include a striped tee, boyfriend jeans, and short booties.  I opted for leopard print instead of the suede solid color and swapped out rolled skinny jeans for boyfriend jeans. (I have not found a pair of boyfriend jeans that I like - still looking... any suggestions???...) Over the next couple weeks (the challenge is for 21 days), I will be posting different looks from my own closet.  And, weather permitting (if it would stop raining...), I plan to get outside and take some pictures of what I am wearing for this challenge.  The leaves are so pretty right now and would be a perfect backdrop.

p.s. Just thought I should mention that I do own shoes/boots that are not leopard print and other jeans... These just seem to be on repeat.

    Love the black and white top with those leopard heels! So cute! The red background you put the outfit up against really made the whole thing pop! Great presentation!

    I look ridiculous in boyfriend jeans... I did end up finding some I can deal with, the Old Navy Skinny boyfriend but they're pretty much like skinny jeans lol

    Leopard and stripes seems to be the only patterns I feel comfortable mixing. I need to work on finding others! I love your outfit - great choice.

    Very cute outfit! I love pattern mixing and am becoming more and more confident with it. I'm still on the hunt for boyfriend jeans too but I have my eye on some from GAP. They seem to be more slouchy.

      Thanks. I am looking for ones that are so tight in the ankle area - a little wider to balance out the slouch. I've looked at the ones for Gap - I might have to give them a try.

    Wow! Love those bold booties! I went thrifting yesterday and found a short leapord "fur" jacket but I wasn't brave enough to buy it. Now you've got me rethinking that...
