Don't you love white denim paired with a gray tee or even the pink/yellow combo?  I do. If only I could just find a pair of white denim that I like.  I have tried 10+ brands, fits, and price points - and I have yet to find one that fits well and I like!   Also, what do you think about that neon yellow bag?  It is my favorite. (I have a birthday coming up - and if the price would come down or it would go on sale - or Shopbop would gift it to me - it would make the perfect gift for me!)

Also, I need to point out that the Sole Society brown wedges on the right are only $69.95 (and they are leather!). And, the ones on the left are under $80 - so both a great deal and totally on trend for spring/summer.  Also, this backpack is a great deal, too, at under $45.

I love shopping for deals.  That is one of the best parts of shopping online - because I can easily do comparative shopping for the best deal.  I use Shopstyle a lot to find something quickly - because it pulls search results from endless stores, and I can sort by store, brand, price, color, etc.

Today, I am sharing some great look-alike items, like these "save" studded sandals (Valentino look-alikes), which are only $15 (and I have mentioned before but were sold out in a lot of sizes).  In the black color, almost all the sizes are still in stock - but might not be for long at this price! Plus, these come in other colors like red, blue, yellow, and tan.

First things first - does anyone have any great tips on how to take birds-eye view Instagram photos - that show more of your legs (when including the upper body).  I feel like my arms are not long enough, or I am not holding the phone correctly to get the right angel. And, half the time, I think I am going to drop my phone or I accidentally turn it off - I wish the on/off was still on the top of the iPhone, not the side. Please comment below if you can offer some assistance.  It would be greatly appreciated!

Nordstrom Rack has great deals.  I tend to do a lot of shopping for my husband there.  They always seem to have really cheap, on trend items.  I try my best to keep my husband dressed well.  He is not a super trendy type, but that doesn't mean he has to dress like the 1990's.  Keeping the basics of jeans, shoes, and shirt/sweaters updated is the trick.  This look has been around for several years, but it is still classic.

STYLING TIPS

1. Socks - Avoid white tube socks with dress shoes.  (It is a fashion faux pas, somewhat like wearing a shirt with a tie without a jacket or sweater - read more about that here or here.)  Some people are into Happy Socks - the fun, colorful socks, but a simple solid color sock is always safe.

2. Jeans - It is time to get rid of the baggy legged jeans - and look for a more tailored fit, like these.  The baggy legged "mom" jean of the 90's needs to go.  

3. Shoes - When wearing jeans, look for a dressier shoe or boot, avoid wearing the training or running shoe.  If you want to opt for the trendy sneaker you can, but avoid looking like you just came from the gym and forgot your shoes.

I really love putting together style boards.  It is something I can get lost in for hours - searching for the all the items to make the perfect look.  I started my blog because I wanted to share outfit ideas and provide inspiration for how to put clothes together.  And, I love shopping online, so I wanted to share with everyone what I had found - new items, sale items, bargains, deals, etc. Anytime I find a great deal, I want to share it with everyone - and this blog is where I can do that.  I just wish I could post all day long!

One of my favorite color combinations is black, white, and red.  Black and white on its own is very classic, but adding red makes a statement. When I wear red, especially this more orange-ish red, I feel more confident and people notice and comment on the red.  This duster is an easy way to add some red to your looks this spring, plus dusters are becoming the “new” cardigan, so this is a great way to update your wardrobe.  Button down and swing cardigans are still popular, but the duster is on trend, and I believe is appropriate at any age when styled correctly.   If you are uncomfortable with the duster or just do not like it, you could always add this red cardigan (and it's only $20!), crewneck, or this cardigan for a similar look.

In fashion when something is popular, you will soon see a very similar look-alike for a fraction of the cost.  I cannot get over how similar the Valentino sandals are. They are almost identical for only $17!
