In the winter, I find that layering a fur vest over a sweater keeps me a lot warmer.  I am typically always cold (and end-up wearing my coat inside a lot.)  So, I have found that wearing a fur vest - keeps me warmer, so I do not need my coat.  Also, I like over the knee boots for the same reason - they are an extra layer of warmth on my legs.  And, I am not kidding about being cold.  At work, there is a constant draft of cold air on my feet/legs that drives me crazy - so I just broke down and ordered a pair of leg warmers to wear at my desk.

And, yes, these are the same over the knee boots you saw in this post. I liked them so much that when they went on sale I bought them in both black and burgundy. The best thing about these boots is that I can wear them below the knee (by scrunching them down - for a more slouchy boot style) - which allows me to wear them to work.

    I need to find an over the knee boot that works for strong calves (my happy way of saying wide calves) Have you seen any?

      I like these boots because they have stretch - so they are comfortable. I think finding ones that have elastic are best. Other than these - I have not found any others to recommend. I have had the same calf issues - of them being too tight - and these are the first ones that have worked for me.

      Thanks, Sheila! I could not believe how well the sweater and vest matched. I thought I needed to "buy" a sweater to go under the vest - and then, I remembered I had this sweater - and it matched perfectly.
