I am sharing What is in my... Handbag. I typically carry a large handbag. It is not that I have a lot of things to carry around - it is just that I like to have extra room - in case I want to put a sweater in my bag or even my laptop sometimes.
I am kind of a one handbag type of person. I find one bag - and it becomes my primary bag that I carry around for a few years. I have had my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag for 3 years - and I still love it; however, it is starting to show its wear.
Last fall, I picked up my ZAC Zac Posen bag. I love it - it looks so classy and makes me feel a little more dressed up each time I take it along.
THE FIVE ESSENTIAL ITEMS INSIDE MY BAG...
1. MAKE UP
I keep some touch-up make up in my leopard pouch (Also, I found a very similar leopard pouch for only $28 since mine is sold out.) On most days, this consists of my NARS lipstick, matching NARS lip liner, NARS lipgloss, and Covergirl touch-up. If you can see a theme, I love NARS products. I really love NARS lipsticks
- and have picked up more and more colors. A few of my favorite colors
are Heat Wave (orangish-red), Manhunt (cherry red), Schiap (pink),
Shanghai Nights (darker red/purple), and Dolce Vita (light mauve). For lipgloss, I stick to the clear color, which over time of layering over lipstick, it starts to pick up the a pinkish-red tint.
Also, in my pouch, I carry my Ponds face wipes.
I love these wipes and always try to carry them with me at all times
because I tend to have greasy face days - and they are so refreshing.
If you need a refresher throughout the day - and tend to have greasy
skin - I highly recommend them.

2. EMERGENCY MEDICINE
2. EMERGENCY MEDICINE
I also carry a little zip lock baggie of some emergency medicines - like pain and stomach medicines - just in case in my leopard pouch. I found out I am not the only one that does this after reading this post Gina did on what’s in her handbag.
3. WALLET
My wallet is probably one of the top essentials in my handbag - and when it goes missing because
I have pulled it out to carry it alone - I kind of panic - and run
frantically through my house looking for it - hoping that I did not
leave it somewhere. I have a black Marc by Marc Jacobs wallet, which I picked up a few years ago to match my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag. It is a simple wallet that holds some cash, coins, and my important cards. Nothing too exciting - just the basics.
Wallet: Marc Jacobs // Sandals: Express // Jeans: Paige // Plaid Shirt: Forever 21
4. MISCELLANEOUS
My miscellaneous items consist of my Jergens Ultra Healing lotion (travel size). I like this lotion because it helps with dry skin (especially in the winter) and isn’t greasy or have an overwhelming smell. For a little fun scented lotion, I picked up this Laura Mercier that smells like the beach (coconut scent); however, it can be a bit over powering, so I only put a dab on and do not use much at all.
I also always try to have a pen, my blister stick (life-saver if you have long walks and your shoes start hurting), and some gum.
5. PHONE
And, last my phone. I always store my phone in my leopard pouch - it keeps it protected, and I know it will not easily fall out of my bag.
1. Cover-Up: CoverGirl // 2. Lipstick: NARS // 3. Lipgloss: NARS
4. Face Wipes: Ponds // 5. Friction Stick: Band-Aid // 6. Lip Liner: NARS
7. Lotion: Jergens // 8. Lotion: Laura Mercier
