3. OVER THE KNEE

The "IT" boots are still a hot trend and over the knee boots are not going away.  These boots are under $40 and a great deal.

4. PLUSH & COZY

Plush, cozy sweaters, jackets, and accessories are a fall trend. These fur sandals and bags are really fun - and definitely something that would get noticed. This shaggy cardigan is a great price - and would be so cozy and warm for winter!

It has been a few weeks since I did an outfit post.  I really like this color combination - and the white jeans are only $10 - and this Chloe look-alike bag is under $60.

I mentioned the other week I was looking for a new handbag.  I have had my Marc Jacobs bag for over three years - and I use it almost exclusively.  I am debating about getting another one - and I like this new tote (but I am not sure what color - and I am not sure if the handle drop is big enough.  I like to put it over my shoulder when shopping.)  I also like this tote.  I love the suede color - but not sure how well it would hold up.

You may remember a few months ago when I mentioned that my husband and I were remodeling our kitchen. Well, everything is finally coming together. We have picked out our hardwood floors, and now we are trying to decide on an area rug and the color for the chairs.  (I shared my table back in this post.)

THREE THINGS IN MY SHOPPING CART

#1 NEW HANDBAG

I have been looking for a new handbag.  I want one that does not have gold or silver hardware.  I found this one - now I am wondering why I didn’t shop the 25% off sale a few weeks ago. I found another option that is really similar and is under $60. 

#2 FUNKY BOOTS

Style has become an eclectic mix of styles from decades ago.  We have the mix of punk-inspired grunge of the 90s with Doc Martins and lug platform soles, mixed with the Victorian-inspired lace up details in lace booties.  I really like these booties (and the lace up version, too) and these plaid ones.

#3 BASIC TEES

I stock up on basic tees - and I just found a new one that I like just about as much as the old one that I have loved for so many years. And, it is under $25!  This one is a looser version and is under $20.   And, a striped version for only $15.

I love this designer.  She makes high quality gold plated jewelry for an affordable price that doesn’t tarnish or look worn after a lot of wear. I love these fun, delicate rings - and for a reasonable price - some under $35 without the discount!

I just talked about how much I love boots, and I am looking for a casual suede boots like these Ash ones or these Dolce Vita ones.


3. BAG
I have been on the hunt for a new bag.  I have had such a struggle finding one I like within the price range I am willing to pay.  My two top picks that are really a great price are this camera bag and this suede tote.


4. COAT
I am looking for a wool jacket that I could wear with jeans.  I love this Scotch & Soda/Maison Scotch checked coat.  The red/cream plaid is so much fun! And, it would be an additional $60 off during the sale.  This buffalo plaid one is also fun - and an even better sale price!


5. LEATHER JACKET

Fall is my favorite shopping season. I think it is because I love sweaters and boots - and there are endless options of things to buy.  Here are a just a few of my top fall picks under $50.  (Also, you may notice a new blog design.  I have been waiting to get this done for a long time - and I am so happy it is finally finished.)

You do not need to spend a fortune on over the knee boots - like these popular boots. These are under $40 and would be perfect for running errands with the flat heel.

2. PLAID PONCHO

Along with sweaters, fall boots are at the top of my list of what I love to shop for.

1. Fun material like velvet is a big trend for fall - and this color is so rich looking.  Or, there is also suede - and these are 25% off.

2. Over the knee boots are still going strong.  I thought the trend might die-off but it does not seem to be going anywhere any time soon.  You can get flat (or low heel), a chunky heel, or a higher heel.  And, an under $80 option.

3. Wear with anything booties - in the perfect color to go with any look.

4. Riding boots - perfect with a plaid poncho (like this under $40 one) or quilted vest or even a chunky sweater

5. Rain boots - these are the cutest booties - and they are under $55

On my list of boots for fall are also these short booties - in a rich burgundy color - and they are under $90! Also, my favorite all time booties are on sale - if you want a compliments and something different (and really comfortable) - I recommend these boots.
