I love how these floral shoes tie the entire look together.  Also, pairing stripes with red can work anytime this summer, not just on holidays.

In non-fashion related news, I spent the weekend painting "my office".  It needed to be painted desperately.  I am pleasantly surprised how well the color turned out.  That is usually the biggest struggle.  Now, I am in the process of ordering a new desk and I can't decide between this one or this one, along with a new rug and a bookcase to keep all my design stuff. Also, while I was painting, I could not figure out why the room kept getting hotter and hotter, even though I kept turning down the A/C . Come to find out, the A/C had stopped working and was just blowing air - by the time I finished the room was 80 degrees!
