I am so excited. I have been talking about (and working on) my own clothing line FOREVER... and I just got back my summer tank prototype - and I love it! It just needs a few tweaks, and it should be ready to be produced. (And, my winter sweater prototype is getting finished next week. So, hoping it is good to go.) I have learned through this process - that patience is absolutely necessary. I never in my wildest dreams imagined it would take this long! When I started this process - one of the first people I talked with said I was just a naive "newbie" designer - with wild dreams of "building skyscrapers toothpicks". He might have been right that I had some ambitious ideas - but he was not right that I would never make it. I have made it! It has been a lot of work - but it is something I am so glad I have stuck with through the tortuously long time of development - but through the process, I have created something uniquely my own.
Now, about the outfit above. There is something classic about grey and black. This simple yet work appropriate look would be appropriate for most casual work places, and you could easily swap out the jeans for black pants, like these.
