Okay, so my mom asked me the other day - “Would you really wear a plaid blazer (like the one I shared in a post a few weeks ago)?” And, my answer was “yes”. There is something about a “fun” blazer that I am drawn to. I like the look of it with jeans. It’s both classic and fun. Now, this plaid one may be a little “wild” and kind of reminds me of Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack - but there is something that I am drawn to, which is totally opposite of my "grunge" style of hiking boots and black beanie.
Does anyone pull from a wide range of style influences that are at opposite ends of the spectrum?
If you are looking for a blazer - here are a few of my more traditional picks - like this classic black and white windowpane one or this bold red one (that is 40% off).
SHOP THE LOOK
This basic staple striped tee is only $6 (also comes in other colors).
These paper bag polka dot shorts would be great for summer.
This fun floral cardigan is only $18.
This tie front sweatshirt is where I’d like to live (or have a second home). Dreaming big…
Stackable rings are a big trend - and I like these.
Did you know in addition to Gucci belts - there are rings, too?
I really like this plaid blazer that is 40% off.
If you suffer from the occasional face break-out (acne) - this stuff is amazing!!!
Have you seen this retro stand mixer - or the toaster!
This would make a great summer work blouse.
This would make a really cute beach cover up and it’s 40% off.
Also, in case you missed it - I shared some of my spring picks from LOFT yesterday HERE.

OMG - totally love this look! It inspired me to pull out a paisley jacket in all my favorite fun colors (turquoise, lime and blue) and get it back in rotation. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove the Caddyshack reference. Does that date me? That jacket is adorable, so springy. This whole pepperminty outfit has a cute retro vibe.
ReplyDeleteYou do know how to rock a great blazer! For some reason I hardly wear the ones I own.
ReplyDeleteThat plaid blazer is easily one of the cutest I've seen this season. I'd love to wear those! Lovely picks dear!
