There are so many ways to style cognac boots. I would definitely classify them as a wardrobe staple.  I love the cognac color mixes so well with the leopard print and grey, and so many other outfits. I want to go out and buy this coat, jeans, and wear this entire look head-to-toe, including that necklace!  If you don't want to invest in a leopard coat - you could always opt for this $18 leopard sweatshirt - in the same color and print - to re-create the look.

One thing I wanted to mention, a lot of people like these dark wash grey jeans.  I ordered them - because I really like them, too.  As far as sizing, I think they run slightly big.  I ordered them in my typical size - and I think they would be better in one size smaller.

Five Styling Tips to Flatter Your Shape

1. NECKLINE

I find the boatneck (or ballet neck) to be one of the most flattering necklines for me. Recently, it has become more popular with Meghan Markle and her boatneck dresses, including her wedding gown.  A boatneck helps to balance out the shoulder-to-hip ratio. Since I have a smaller shoulder width compared to my hips, the wideness at the neckline, helps to balance out my hips and flatters my shape.  Depending on your body shape - this guide helps determine which neckline works best for your shape.

As my two examples here - boatnecks do not need to be extreme - they can be more subtle.

There are some great winter sales.  I am trying to decide if I should buy a new pair of my favorite jeans.  I have worn the ones I got last spring so much they are starting to show a little wear - you know how dark wash jeans lighten up.  Since I am lucky enough to be able to wear jeans to work, I like them to look "new" - and be a dark wash so they are more professional looking.

It's no secret - I love leopard shoes.  My most worn shoes are probably my leopard pumps. I have worn them so much I have gone through several pairs.  The one thing I have yet to find is a pair of leopard boots that I love as much.

One thing for sure, I have become more conscious of the type of shoes I buy.  I no longer buy shoes for looks - they also have to be comfortable and wearable.  I have found that block heels are the most comfortable. So, if anyone has recommendations of block heel leopard boots - let me know.
