We are still in the middle of summer (and in most places it's still a hot summer) - but as the weather starts to transition to early fall, this look is a great option.  Layering a cardigan over a look is a perfect way to adjust to the changing temperatures.  Even in the summer, I always have a sweater with me - for when I am inside with the cold A/C.  Also, a stylish way to add a scarf to any look, is to tie it to your bag.  It adds a pop of color/pattern, and you can use it if you are cold.  Also, scarves styled as hair accessories are a big trend this season.  I have yet to try it - but it looks great on those I have seen.  And, if you live where it is too hot for jeans, you could easily swap out the jeans for denim shorts.

I am actually happy that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is over - because I am looking forward to more new fall releases.  I am sharing some of my favorites below, along with some great summer sales.  I am happy to say that my patience paid off - I finally was able to get these snake print booties (on sale) in my size!
