I did just a little shopping during Black Friday - actually most of the deals I bought were "Black Friday" sales that started a few weeks ago. I bought that fair isle sweater for 40% off. I "tried" to buy some new boots - but instead the store sending the boots I ordered they shipped me this very expensive leather shirt jacket. It is a nice jacket - but I would have rather had my boots.
Has anyone else received something they totally did not order? This past summer I ordered a dress from Old Navy - and instead of an adult dress I got a 2T (toddler) dress. It was just a bit small :)
And, there have been more instances of wrong items.
I am trying not to buy much right now - because I am not going anywhere; however, I need some excitement to what I want to wear each day - so I picked up this fair isle sweater for 40% off. I love the colors. I am typically not a print person - but these colors and the fair isle pattern is one that I like.
Also, those combat boots are one of my favorite purchases - I have worn them so much.

I hope you had a great weekend! My weekend consisted of finishing Season 4 of The Crown, celebrating my mom's birthday, making cabbage rolls for the first time that were pretty good, and baking one of my favorite desserts - cranberry tarts. These tarts would be a great dessert option for Thanksgiving.
Also, I helped my husband hook-up an antenna cable to one of our TV's. We had to feed the line from the crawl space (we don't have a basement) into the wall - and we struggled with that for probably over an hour. We finally got it - and then realized we didn't have a coaxial cable to connect it - so not finished just yet!
I can't believe next week is Thanksgiving. This year will be different because we will not be celebrating with all of our family, but I look forward to next year!
Today I am sharing a few of my favorite winter jackets. I tend to buy puffer jackets because they are warmer; however, I love a leather biker jacket.
For years, I have been loyal to North Face - all the way back to the 90's. And, before that Pategonia. As much as I love both of those, a few years ago, I got this puffer jacket- and, I have to say it is warmer - and a better jacket for warmth (and a little extra style) in the winter. I also love the shiny red and oversized zippers. I liked the jacket so much I got it in the camo print.

I liked it so much I also bought it in white. If you are looking for a down version - I found this down-filled leopard vest.
Over the weekend, I watched the movie The Social Dilemma on Netflix. I know there is AI (artificial intelligence) at work behind the scenes in everything we do related to social media; however, when I watched the movie, it really hit me as to how we are being watched and in turn manipulated. And, how this is influencing our society. There are really big ethical questions about what is being done - and how are actions are being "played" and "sold" for profit.

This all made me think even more at what I do as a digital influencer. I want to be honest and true to who I am and what I share. It has really started to bother me more and more about how we (as a society) are being "influenced" by influencers. I know is it is a form of marketing - but it is on a much deeper level. The level of trust the society puts on influencers - is a bit scary - if you really think about it.
