Thought I would share a few things about me today... And, this classic v-neck sweater that I have styled with jeans and black over the knee boots that happen to be 80% off. 

THREE THINGS ABOUT ME

1. I love the excitement of NYC as much as I love the peacefulness of being at the lake. As you know, I lived in NYC and went to Parsons one summer. I love everything about NYC; however, growing-up I would go to a cottage at a lake in the summer. I loved it - spending the whole day by the water - swimming, tubing, boating, fishing - even night fishing.  This is back in the days when there were no cell phones - and the place did not have a landline phone or TV - it was just the lake!  Many people would find this hard to believe of me today - but I never wore shoes when I was there - and one time I ended up with a leech between my toes!   

2. I have gone down hill skiing two times in my life - once in West Virginia and another time in upper Michigan. Skiing is pretty easy for me (since I grew up ice skating); however, the chair lift and tow rope is another story - they give me trouble. I can make it down the hill no problem - it’s finding my way up to the top of the run that is the struggle.  I have lost one of my ski poles on the chair lift - and tore-up a pair of gloves on the tow rope.  I hope to go skiing again someday.

3. I love Neil Diamond. A few years ago, I went to one of his last concerts before he stopped touring.  We had floor seats - which made it fun to see him and the band up close.  One of my favorite songs is Hello, Again.  As much as I loved the concert - I was bummed he did not sing that song.
