Happy Thursday!
I hope you enjoy my #throwbackthursday look.
I was going through some old photos, and I came across these pictures from 20 years ago when I was hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. These were taken on a quick stop off to visit the observation deck at Clingmans Dome - the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains.
That is my proud moment that I climbed up the observation tower (in my flip flops)!
{It really wasn't that hard - but I was making a - look at me pose - haha!}
Something people may not know about me is that I spent a week hiking in the Smoky Mountains - and even camping out under an open air lookout - without facilities (yes, no bathrooms). It was the most beautiful sunrise - and definitely worth the hike and sleeping outside. And, that was not my first time camping without facilities - I have also camped on a beach in Texas near the border of Mexico.
As far as my outfit, I found it funny that I was wearing denim shorts - the same ones that I showed last Friday that are back in style (or really have never gone out of style) - and, I am also wearing a cardigan set, which is a huge trend this spring.
WHAT I BOUGHT THIS SPRING
I bought this sweatshirt for under $20 - I love the color!
This best silk face mask - in a new spring color.
My favorite shorts for summer.
This sweater vest for only $13.
This birthstone necklace.
These sandals - that are comfy, lightweight - and waterproof.
These high rise jeans.
These super trendy sandals - that I can't wait to wear.
This cozy sweatshirt.

I know exactly where that is: we were there a few years ago sans kids! Never out of style after 20 years: some things just continue to work!
