Last Friday, I was at the beach - enjoying the warm weather, sunshine and water. This week I am bundled up in my parka and boots (just kidding) but the weather is definitely a lot colder.
This Memorial Day weekend there are a lot of great sales - and I am sharing a few of my summer favorites.
Lastly, may we remember all those that served our country this Memorial Day.
And, I am sharing some of my spring workout outfits. I have gotten hooked on cropped sweatshirts this season - and have been buying a few from Forever 21 - like this one and this one. F21 has some great deals for summer - I found this LBD for only $23 (and 20% off) - which also comes in white.
I thought I would share some encouragement this Friday from this devotional that seems like it was written just for me many days. And, if you are like me and struggle with how to deal with mistakes you might find this helpful...
"Don't be so hard on yourself. I can bring good even out of your mistakes... Your failures can be a source of blessing, humbling you and giving you empathy for other people in their weaknesses. Best of all, failure highlights your dependence on Me. I am able to bring beauty out of the morass of your mistakes."
Those classic Levi's jean shorts are a favorite of mine that I have had for years! You can tell - because they continue to fray (and get a little shorter).
I am looking forward to warmer weather so I can wear my new summer sandals. They will look great styled with jeans, denim shorts, and skirts. Also,
My Monday inspiration is for those that might be struggling with a decision of which path to choose - which career - job - life decision. I read recently in this book about how we need to "focus on one thing" - by focusing on just one thing we can accomplish more.
...But there’s one final thing that draws all this together as you seek to move forward toward God’s plan for the next phase of your life: you must find your passion and give your life to one thing. You must choose one chair. As an old Russian proverb put it, “If you chase two rabbits, you’ll not catch either one.”
